Job Title: Beverage Server
Department: Beverage
Reports to: Beverage Manager
Job Summary: Provide exceptional guest service by offering beverages in a timely manner to our customers on the Casino floor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate and learn basic hygiene sanitation and safety procedures.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must display quality guest service skills in a pleasant and timely manner.
- Maintain and service a beverage tray throughout the casino.
- Ability to lift, push or pull 40 pounds.
- Operate small equipment to make assorted beverages.
- Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment, and work with cleaning chemicals.
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work unsupervised and complete tasks assigned according to set standards.
- Willingness to take direction and maintain a positive attitude.
- Must be able to work any shift scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
- At least 1 year of beverage service preferred.
- Must be able to monitor guest alcoholic consumption in a busy environment.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
- Excellent customer relations skills and a flexible schedule.

Job Title: Security Officer / EMT
Department: Security
Reports to: Security Manager
Job Summary: Provide a safe environment for persons on Casino property, patrol and provide security for casino buildings and property. Responsible for medical emergencies at the Casino and its surrounding areas. The "EMT/ Security Officer” means the (EMT) works as a member of the LPSD. Basic duties: administers first-aid treatment and assists paramedics and other emergency medical service personnel in providing emergency and non-emergency patient care to sick or injured guests and employees, until patients can be transported to hospitals or other medical care facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists paramedics and other emergency medical service personnel in providing emergency and non-emergency medical and health care.
- Responds to instructions from the EMS Director for emergencies or to the Casino Floor Supervisor for non-emergency incidents.
- Communicates with professional medical personnel at a hospital to get instructions regarding further treatment and to arrange for the victim’s transport or arrival at the hospital. May assist professional medical personnel in emergency treatment administered on scene at our facility.
- Administers prescribed first-aid treatment at the site of an emergency. This could include treatments such as applying splints, administering oxygen, treat minor wounds or abrasions, or administering artificial resuscitation.
- Arranges transport for patients to hospitals or other emergency care facilities.
- Maintains medical and communication equipment and replenishes first aid and medical equipment supplies.
- Cleans and maintains the EMT room for readiness of patient care.
- Prepares medical and reports of incidents for submission to the Security/EMS Director.
- Performs other related emergency medical support duties as needed/directed.
- Patrols buildings and grounds to prevent and detect fire, burglary, vandalism, and mechanical malfunctions.
- Talks and communicates with the public, other employees, and converses by radio and telephone as necessary to ensure quick respond to security related situations.
- Reports suspicious activity as required.
- Conducts safety inspections of the Casino during shift.
- Checks doors and windows; may patrol Casino parking lots.
- Responds to requests for assistance in instances of fights or other disturbances.
- Confronts and detains unauthorized visitors.
- Removes customers from Casino as instructed.
- Reports unsafe emergency situations.
- Provides escort protection for employees if requested.
- Gives information and direction to customers and responds to complaints.
- Prepares required documentation of activities.
- Communicates effectively and professionally on a two-way radio and monitors the radio for medical calls for assistance and related EMS needs.
- Observe and report any incidents that occur in the Casino.
- Provides traffic control assistance when required.
- Responsible for maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality, professionalism and ethical business conduct.
- Other duties as assigned.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Current valid Emergency Medical Technician certificate issued by the State of Calif. Or by an EMT certifying agency approved by the State of Calif., County of San Diego EMT System ID card.
- Current certification for Basic Life Support for First Aid, CPR and AED.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to talk and to communicate with the public, other employees, and converse by radio and telephone as necessary to ensure quick respond to security related situations.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints form customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Must posse’s excellent communications skills.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions.
- Knowledge of rules, regulations, policies and procedures of all Tribal, State and Federal jurisdiction.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of Casino.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.

Job Title: Housekeeper
Department: Facilities
Reports to: Facilities Manager
Job Summary: Responsible for all housekeeping tasks assigned in and around the Casino.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning all aspects of the Casino all the time.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly, including carrying hand-held equipment.
- Ability to perform strenuous lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching and climbing.
- Ability to lift and move tables and chairs according to supervisors instruction.
- Ability to work on your feet throughout entire shift.
- Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment, and work with cleaning chemicals.
- Customer Service skills are mandatory.
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team.

Job Title: Investigator
Department: Surveillance
Reports to: The Director of Compliance
Job Summary: Protect the assets of the company by observing through closed circuit television all areas of the Casino and its parking lots covered by such equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts investigations of cheating, criminal activities, procedural violations and any other matters that may threaten the company and/or customers.
- Reviews video detail of irregularities and reports findings in writing to the Executive Director.
- Advises the appropriate Casino staff to correct errors or irregularities.
- Ensures that all recording machinery is properly functioning.
- Conducts video of incidents, if available, and relays information to the Casino management as requested.
- Maintains recorded video coverage of slot machine drop and count.
- Monitors security and slots radio communications in order to initiate video coverage of any incident in progress.
- Uses radio to assist security personnel in the apprehension of a suspect observed by surveillance in the act of committing a crime, gaming or other.
- Controls access to sensitive areas of gaming devices.
- Conducts testing of gaming device software for verification of validity and authorized programming.
- Monitors shipping, receiving, installation, relocation, removal, storage, etc. of gaming devices for security and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Ensures accurate records are maintained on same.
- Inspects all gaming equipment and supplies for integrity and compliance.
- Randomly audits any gaming related documents or equipment for compliance with regulations and internal controls.
- Monitors count room and vault activities for compliance.
- Monitors other non-gaming departments and personnel activities and transactions for compliance.
- Writes reports and conducts necessary follow-up investigations on reported or observed violations or deficiencies.
- Conducts follow-up monitoring for implementation of appropriate corrective action.
- Maintains Commission records, files, statistics, etc. on compliance monitoring activities.
- Works with outside regulatory or law enforcement officials as necessary.
- Ensures that the casino fulfills all of its reporting requirements including, but not limited to, Title 31, NIGC, State, Federal and Commission reports and assessments.
- Provides Executive Director with audit reports and status updates.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Mandatory Requirements:

Job Title: Floor Supervisor
Department: Administration

Job Summary: Ensure customer service, i.e., hand pays, are performed in a timely manner and that the casino floor is flowing smoothly. Deal efficiently and effectively with customer complaints and compliments. Ensure customers’ gaming experience is an enjoyable and pleasant one. Dress standard including, but not limited to, dress suits, blazers, ties, dress shirt and slacks for men; blazers, dress shirts, skirts, slacks for women. Excellent grooming habits are required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote positive guest relations providing a good gaming experience by answering questions, resolving disputes, locating beverage servers, etc.
- At various times, will act as Supervisor on Duty
- Investigate and help resolve customer complaints and issues.
- Ensure that the integrity of the Casino is upheld in accordance with NIGC regulations and casino policies.
- Operate a computer and process hand pays through the jackpot station.
- Approve over-rides for hand pays and jackpots.
- Ensure customers are waited on in a timely manner regarding, but not limited to, hand pays.
- Monitor casino for questionable activity and/or people.
- Exercise discretion in working with sensitive and confidential records.
- Work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Perform as a team member and assist fellow associates to ensure a smooth operation.
- Be knowledgeable about current casino events and machines.
- Perform other duties as may be required by the position, or as directed by the General Manager.
Mandatory Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of Casino experience strongly preferred.
